We were recently lucky enough to have Dr Tom Nicholson visit us for a Visual Stress Assessment.
Tom is a Neurodiversity Keynote Speaker and Trainer, an Assistant Professor of Mental Health Nursing at Northumbria University, and challenger on neuroinclusion.
Tom initially came to us after hearing positive results from a colleague using Visual Stress interventions to reduce overwhelm, headaches, and sensory overstimulation in neurodivergent clients. After an initial chat Tom agreed to come back for a Visual Stress Assessment for himself.
To find out how Tom's reading speed, stress, sensory overload, and regulation were affected by precision tinted lenses read Tom's full post on his website: Neurodivergence & Visual Stress
We were so pleased to hear as someone with ADHD & Autism how neuroinclusive Tom found his experience of a Visual Stress Assessment at Vision Through Colour, and look forward to seeing him again.
